A new blow to the pocket is forecast for the month of July, whose increases will affect basic services.
After knowing the inflation index for May (2,1% according to data from INDEC), new increases are expected for July in public transportation, energy rates, prepaid bills, private school fees, among other items.
In addition to inflation, deregulation in goods and services at the national level is another of the main reasons that explain the increases.
Transport
Public transport will register an increase in 4,1% and affects both the groups belonging to CABA and the province of Buenos Aires. In the province the increases will be:
- Minimum trip of up to 3 kilometers $1.057,25
- From 3 to 6 kilometers $1.189,39
- 6 to 12 kilometers $1.321,55
- 12 of 27 kilometers $1.585,891
As for the AMBA trains, an increase in the 8,6% within the framework of the schedule of staggered increases defined by the Ministry of Transportation. The new rates with SUBE registered would be $1,400 (flat rate), first section (up to 12 km) $380, second section (12 to 24 km) $530 and third section (more than 24 km) $660. New increases are also estimated for August and September.2
Rentals
Housing rent estimates various increases depending on the type of contract established between the interested parties:
- Quarterly adjustment: 8,1% (IPC)
- Quarterly adjustment: 11% (IPC)
- Half-yearly adjustment: 16,7% (IPC)
- Annual adjustment by ICL: 31,54%
The annual adjustment index is directly linked to the interannual inflation index (that is, the index established between May 2025 and May of this year) which was 33,2%.

Gas, electricity and water
In the middle of winter and with greater need for gas consumption, increases in the 2,81% in the invoices for what was consumed during June. The rates corresponding to the month of July have not yet been announced in the Official Bulletin.
For their part, electricity bills will increase by 1,5%. The water and sewer bills will record a 3% applied to CABA and the Buenos Aires suburbs.
Prepaid
Prepaid medicine announced an increase of up to 2,9% in their health plans. According to Financial AreaSwiss Medical, OSDE, Sancor Salud, Avalian and Accord Salud confirmed an increase in 2,1%. For its part, Omint will have a higher increase that will reach up to 2.9% according to the plan. The portal states that these adjustments will also apply to co-payments in some cases.
