The woman was arrested by the Federal Police and remained at the disposal of Justice. She will be subjected to psychological tests.
The investigation by the death of a baby in La Plata added a strong twist in the last hours: the mother of the minor was arrested and was charged with homicide.
The woman, identified as Camila De Viggiano Rojas, 32 years old and of Chilean nationality, was arrested by members of the Argentine Federal Police in the area of 1 and 45 and taken to a police station.

The case is being handled by Judge Alejo Ramos Padilla, who ordered her arrest and ordered that she be subjected to psychological tests within the framework of the investigation.
The case originated after the discovery of the baby’s lifeless body at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the National University of La Plata, where it was found in an area under construction.
Initially, the woman’s partner had reported her disappearance along with the girl after a visit to the La Plata Children’s Hospital. Hours later, the woman was located at 122 and 50 with a psychiatric condition that led to her medical evaluation without her being detained at that time.
However, with the progress of the investigation and the first evidence collected, Justice ordered his arrest around noon this Monday.
The event generated a deep commotion in the La Plata community, while investigations continue to determine the exact circumstances of the minor’s death.
